Best Happy Hour Places in the Phoenix Valley

If you're anyone like me, you love a good drink out after a busy work week. After living in the valley for several years now, I've compiled a list of must-go bars and restaurants that have happy hours that will make you want to come back week after week.

Whether you enjoy a tangy margarita or a sweet glass of wine, these happy hour spots are sure to make every drinker happy!

Cheers!

Wine Girl Scottsdale

Wine Girl is a cute little wine bar located in Scottsdale- a premier location for happy hour in the valley. They offer an amazing selection of wines, and of course, have cute spots for the perfect photo op. Wine Girl offers their wine on tap, with 12 rotating wines- both red and white. Perfect for all wine connoisseurs. If you're interested in enjoying their wine year-round, you can join their wine club as part of the Scottsdale Wine Club.

Diego Pops

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm obsessed with Diego Pops. Diego Pops is a modern Mexican restaurant and bar that features my all-time favorite happy hour menu. My go-to happy hour items are their house Diego margaritas (only $5 during happy hour), their brussel sprout nachos, and their quesadillas with pink crema.

Stone & Vine

This Italian restaurant has the best Italian food I've had in the States. I would say it's ALMOST comparable to the authentic Italian food I've had in Italy. My favorite pairing is a glass of merlot with one of their bruschetta boards, similar to Postinos but more authentic and local. They also offer cauliflower crust pizzas that I mistake for normal crust pizzas every time. As a bonus, their wine and bruschetta boards are half off during happy hour.

Rock Lobster

Calling all sangria lovers!! This place is a hidden gem that happens to have the best sushi and sangrias I've ever had. Their happy hour (3:00-6:00 pm) includes half-off sushi, sangrias, sake, and wine.

Postinos

Unless you're new to the valley, you've probably heard of Postinos, particularly their bottle and board night. On Mondays and Tuesdays after 8:00 pm you can get a bottle of wine of your choice (prosecco included) and a bruschetta board with four bruschettas of your choice. If you're not planning on finishing your own bottle in one sitting, they will cork and bag your wine for you to take home and enjoy another night (or even a few hours later if need be.)

Hulas Modern Tiki

Hula's Modern Tiki is a Hawaiian-inspired restaurant that offers an impressive selection of food and drinks. During happy hour their tiki-themed drinks are $7 and appetizers are $6 or less. If you don't make it during happy hour, be sure to try the scorpion bowl that comes to the table flaming and serves 2-4 people for $20.

Scorpion Bowl (serves 2-4)

Toca Madera

Toca Madera is an impressive modern Mexican restaurant that features flaming cocktails and elevated Mexican cuisine. If you're not looking to spend a wad of cash during normal hours, come from 4:00-6:00 pm when they have cocktails for $10, wine for $7, and appetizers at a discounted price. Same unique experience, lower cost!

Geisha A Go Go

If you love sake bombs, this is your place. Geisha has an amazing happy hour menu that runs from 3:00-7:00 pm every day and all day on Sundays with most drinks and appetizers being half off. If you're looking to try something new, Geisha's sake comes in different flavors ranging from unique flavors of coconut passionfruit to the fan-favorite flavor strawberry.
